Has Q chucked it?

Trump is now pushing full-on Q-drops, irresponsibly legitimising the crackpottery even more blatantly than he has done thus far. Is this a sign of increasing recklessness? Desperation? Idiocy? Or just another example of the world's greatest ever genius, outsmarting the libs with his 5-D Chess?

Bellingcat somewhat flimsily predicting the demise of QAnon.

As QAnon Falters, European Followers Flock to a Financial Conspiracy

Imagine you’re a jaded stalwart of the QAnon conspiracy. The latest batch of ‘drops’ – the cryptic posts into which you’ve read so much – aren’t quite as enticing, and you’re not even sure that Donald Trump will return to the Oval Office.
But you’re not ready to reassess your belief system. Luckily for you, there are other doomsday prophecies to keep you engaged. That’s how you ended up with billions of Zimbabwean dollars. Or Iraqi Dinars.
Whatever the currency, this scenario doesn’t seem so rare in those corners of the internet that are populated by Europe’s conspiracy theorists. New data shows that QAnon’s hold on the continent’s conspiracy discourse has begun to loosen at the same time that some of its European followers flock to a decades-old financial conspiracy.
That decades-old conspiracy is GESARA, which heralds a financial reset that will see billions of secret funds distributed to people across the globe and the erasure of all debts.

More in the link but perhaps worth pointing out that one of the QAnon nutters I know has been pushing GESARA for at least 3 years now, with no indication that she's done with Q.
It also points to a "not specifically QAnon themed, heady mix of other conspiracy theories". QAnon has long been a dumping ground for every conspiracy theory ever theorised, including the aforementioned GESARA, shape-shifting lizard overlords, 5G-nano-chips, chemtrails, etc, etc. It seems pretty clear that loose community of unhinged nutbags most certainly is not going away, even if it eventually isn't called QAnon anymore.

Could just as easily go in the political joke thread but this is a bit of a Q-gasm so here probably fits better.

Wikipedia article on that is interesting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NESARA
But Bellin¿cat, though ... https://thegrayzone.com/2021/10/09/bellingcat-intelligence-contractors-extremists-syria/

Like many things pushed by Qanon types, NESARA predates the first Q drop by quite some time. What made the more recent stuff especially funny was that, even though NESARA/GESARA would herald a great reset and debt-free, post-scarcity-esque wealth all around, 2 people I know lost money buying worthless currency because their greed led them to want more than the great-reset wealth that every other pleb would gain. One of them is still in debt because of it and I have very little sympathy for her.
A supposedly independent news source that isn't completely independent? Whatever next? :D

I've wondered how much of this crazy stuff was intelligence directed since the flat earth explosion. It's really hard to now where "information" is coming from - especially these days.

In Canada - https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2021/10/21/cafp-o21.html
but also in your neck of the woods - https://www.thenational.scot/news/23286961.probe-look-77th-brigade-monitoring-uk-social-media-posts/

Of course it's intelligence directed! Q has Q level military intelligence clearance, after all. How else could he have known about the imminent arrest of HRC for that first Q drop?
More seriously, is it possible that some of the silly nonsense posted since then is actually directed by real intelligence? I suppose it is possible but I find the suggestion wholly unconvincing. The highest-profile amplifier of Qanon for the last six months at least has been Donald Trump, Is the 5d-Chess ultra-genius so easily manipulated? I don't think so. I think the explanation is as simple and depressing as it was 4 or 5 years ago when I first noticed the bizarre, and seemingly simultaneous, right-wing-brainwashing of various new age, artsy, hippie types I know.

As an aside, if we're questioning Bellingcat as a source, The National in Scotland has gradually become a laughably partisan and unreliable source even among independence supporters like me (it launched as Scotland's only "pro-independence" newspaper). I actually subscribed to it when it launched for a couple of years but ended that about six or seven years ago when I could no longer defend the increasing silliness.

Any dumbasses left that still believe in Q in 2023? I sincerely hope not.

A paper launched to support a cause is now partisan? Perhaps partisan means something else in Scotland.

I would draw a distinction between partisan and propaganda (which Bellingcat smells like). However, here is an article from wired from before the pandemic which gives a context to what Brigade 77 is and was supposed to do. That it was doing it against "it's own people" as the phrase wielded against other people's despots has it, is the subject of parliamentary investigation.

When the parent company more often supports the opposite position from the supposedly partisan one, that's perhaps not such a stretch. Superficially-partisan might be a better term. Either way, it's not considered a particularly reliable source of news and hasn't been for several years. Of course, Wired gets accused of unreliability and bias too. There is no such thing as a truly neutral source of news. I only mentioned it as a "don't shoot the messenger" nod. If there is a problem with the article itself, that's another thing.

Ultra Pepe Lives matter? What’s that? Don’t Apple Watch Ultra owners Lives Matter too?
