Tracking the United States' national embarrassment.

Imagine being that person trying to pretend everything is just fine with Biden cognitively, for real he is running the country himself, and things are the best they have ever been.

The staff wrote the words “you” and “your” in capital letters to emphasize to the president what needs to be done to ensure that no mistakes were made. The card also instructed which reporter Biden was supposed to take questions from.

More than 700 flights canceled Sunday

(CNN) — At least 730 flights were canceled across the United States on Sunday evening, according to the flight-tracking website FlightAware.

Delta Air Lines alone canceled at least 224 flights on Sunday. United Airlines canceled 71 flights and American Airlines canceled 66 flights.

CNN has reached out to the three airlines for comment on flight cancellations.

“Delta teams continue to safely manage through compounding factors affecting our operation this weekend, including higher-than-planned unscheduled absences in some of our work groups, weather, and air traffic control constraints,” a Delta Air Lines spokesperson said. “Canceling a flight is always our last resort, and we sincerely apologize to our customers for any disruption to their travel plans.”

Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport was most impacted by Sunday’s cancellations.

United Airlines canceled 56 flights on Saturday and 70 flights Sunday.

United Airlines said on Thursday it would cut 12% of its daily domestic flights from its busy Newark hub. The cuts start in July and amount to about 50 daily flights.

According to FlightAware, there were 634 flight cancellations Saturday.

Bitcoin is established enough now and is failing on it's main goals. Bitcoin should have been a flight to safety. Instead it is tracking the US stock market as a speculative asset. China Joe is tanking the US equity markets and BTC is crashing. If it doesn't find a floor soon, things will get ugly for holders.

Bitcoin Drops to Nearly $19K as Fed Renews Inflation Warnings

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell reiterated the central bank's commitment to increasing interest rates to curtail inflation. Speaking at the ECB meeting, he said he was more concerned about the challenge posed by inflation than about the possibility of higher interest rates pushing the U.S. economy into a recession.

“Is there a risk we would go too far? Certainly, there’s a risk,” Powell said. “The bigger mistake to make – let’s put it that way – would be to fail to restore price stability.”

Bank of America Slashes GDP Forecast to Zero

Zero.

That is Bank of America’s latest forecast for the growth of the U.S. economy in the second quarter.

The second largest American bank by assets on Friday revised down its estimate for GDP growth in the April through June period from 1.5 percent to 0.0 percent, citing weaker than expected consumer spending reported by the Department of Commerce on Thursday.

“This was the first fall in consumer spending this year amid high inflation and hawkish hikes by the Fed, indicating a slightly weaker economy than previously assumed,” the bank’s economists said in a note to clients.

Newsweek: Democrats Have Forgotten the Working Class. It Will Cost Them in November

American families are struggling economically... Rather than address this issue, Democratic politicians have asked the working class to sacrifice more while liberal elite celebrities dismiss the concerns and even poke fun at those feeling the impact. Just this week, multiple media pundits on the ideological Left went so far as to admonish voters for being more concerned with inflation and gas prices than with topics they believe should be the priority, such as the January 6 hearings.

A parallel to Labour in the UK - overwhelmed with college kids bringing in the new fangled social theories that all of our actual problems are how we aren't sorry enough about how non whites and non straights have been treated in the past. It's the economy, stupid.

This warms my cold heart.

Ilhan Omar Booed at Somali Music Event in Minneapolis

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar was booed by a mostly Somali crowd at a concert in her home state over the weekend, according to viral videos on social media.

The incident took place at Somali singer Suldaan Seeraar's concert at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Saturday. The concert came during Somali Week, an annual event that this year marks the 62nd anniversary of independence in Somalia.

At Saturday's concert, Omar, a Somali-American who is one of two Muslim women in Congress, went up on stage to present an award to the singer, who was performing for the first time in the U.S.

"It was an honor to welcome you to our incredible city," the Democratic congresswoman wrote in a tweet, alongside a 14-second clip that ended moments after the audience began to boo loudly.

Longer clips shared on social media show the audience booed for at least a minute after Omar and her husband came up on stage.

One video shared on Twitter has amassed more than a million views. The clip shows that some in the crowd chanted "Get out!" while others were heard yelling "get the f**k out of here!"

The clip also shows Omar struggling to speak over the noise, while another person on stage repeatedly tells the crowd "don't do this."
