Tracking the United States' national embarrassment.

Mad mental moon-howling Marj is back, complaining about "corporate communism."

Witch hunts always seem to find witches - even though witches don't exist. That's the point of the metaphor.
Though "Big Lie" IS associated almost entirely with Adolph Hitler. A quick Google search I just did brings up the Wikipedia article as the top hit.
The German expression was first used by Adolf Hitler in his book Mein Kampf (1925) to describe how people could be induced to believe so colossal a lie because they would not believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously".
While it is often assumed that the "Big Lie" is a technique that Hitler promulgated, his assertion was that it was a technique used by Jews - something that is sometimes referred to as chutzpah.

The judge said:
"CNN's statements while repugnant, were not, as a matter of law, defamatory,"

Witch hunts always seem to find witches...
Some say it's the biggest witch hunt in the history of the world. Some of those same people demanded other, less important people be "locked up" for lesser alleged crimes. And OMG, what about Hunter's laptop?! Why isn't The Laptop the biggest story in the world? Is months and months of the right banging on about Hunter's laptop a witch hunt? No, that's just good, old fashioned anti-corruption, morality and "won't someone think of the children?"
But any suggestion Trump broke the law? Nah, that's a witch hunt.

Here's the thing; Trump might turn out to be innocent of all charges. Nonetheless, the clamour by his fans to absolve him of any wrongdoing, whilst simultaneously demanding action against any perceived injustice by those they see as Trump's enemies is wryly amusing but depressingly predictable.

The biggest witch hunt the universe has ever seen, spanning every state, multiple grand juries and Trump-appointed judges is nothing if not entertaining. Consider Mr. Michael Pence. This leftwing, deep-state-cabal libtard spent his entire life pretending to be "Mike Pence," a right wing, evangelical, uber-conservative nutjob, culminating in four years of pretending to be a Republican VP and defending every Trump horror, before finally breaking cover.

And now this:
