Now that didn't take long!

So you agree that Mrs. Clinton is anything but liberal?

Because if you don't, my point stands, regardless of your puerile, "Bzzt! Thanks for playing..." schtick.

That depends on your idea of what exactly "liberal" means. On social issues, she is part of extreme far left in the USA. And BTW Robert, *YOU* were the one who brought Hillary into the conversation. That is like running into Ruth's Chris Steak House and asking patrons why they hate Applebees.

-edit-
Those are restaurants in the USA, in case you havn't heard of them.

Which takes us right back to my original point.
Any chance of addressing that?
And if it helps you keep your toys in the pram, let's assume I'm talking about Bill Clinton. I honestly couldn't care less which one of these so-called 'liberal' Clintons you were referring to - the point remains; bought and paid for by big business and militaristic is a definition of liberal I don't share.
You cited 'Clinton News Network', meaning liberal, meaning someone called Clinton is liberal.
What difference does it make whether it's Bill or Hillary? Neither of them are particularly liberal.
Anyone might think you're seizing on trivial detail in order to avoid the main point. ;-)

In the US the "far left" is typically synonymous with "liberal".

I think in the US things are greatly oversimplified to the point where things start to get silly. I mean, it's either one extreme or another, when in reality most people are somewhere in between extremes, but mostly right in the middle. Of course those who are in the middle are hated by both extremes as they are lumped into the opposing group by both sides. This has the effect of forcing moderates to take a side but also has the tendency to bring both extremes closer together. As a non-American I can say that both the Dems and the Reps are fairly conservative overall (judging by world standards). The fear that most Republicans have of Obama is nothing more then the same manufactured fear they have of the terrorists. Neither are likely to materialize, yet fear will continue to drive them.

And in the US, "far left" means just a smidgen left of Hitler.

Wow! How many double entendres, both visual and audible were in that clip. No wonder your perspective on news events is so, shall we say, full of love.

Is it any wonder their ratings are so low.
I rarely watch MSNBC and even less now that we only view TV on the internet or on DVD/Blu-Rays. I found the video at another site and had to post it for those here. I found it funny in a Jr. High sense but funny none-the-less.

"True, it is a fixed idea with the French that the Rhine is their property, but to this arrogant demand the only reply worthy of the German nation is Arndt's: "Give back Alsace and Lorraine". For I am of the opinion, perhaps in contrast to many whose standpoint I share in other respects, that the reconquest of the German-speaking left bank of the Rhine is a matter of national honour, and that the Germanisation of a disloyal Holland and of Belgium is a political necessity for us. Shall we let the German nationality be completely suppressed in these countries, while the Slavs are rising ever more powerfully in the East?" quote Friedrich Engels

If there's one thing Hitler couldn't stand it was commies. Of course there were several things he couldn't stand and minorities was another, jews, gypsies, homosexuals... no sir, he didn't like 'em.

What he did like was spending the peoples' money on weapons - lots of weapons, and then using those weapons to liberate other countries and bring them freedom (conquerors always said they were bringing freedom - they still say it to this day). He even developed a new military paradigm - called it Blitzkrieg, means lightning war - something that has been honed into modern "rapid dominance" otherwise known as "Shock and Awe".

He also was into spying on his enemies and having them disappear into extra-judicial limbo.

Mind you, he had his weaknesses. He liked dogs and children, liked to paint Disney characters like The Seven Dwarves, let the Red Cross into the concentration camps. The Red Cross weren't allowed into Gitmo or Abu Graib.

Another thing that Hitler liked was the salute that the Americans were using in their pledge of allegiance. Ended up using it himself. Sure, Hitler had a lot of support in America - including from the Bush and Walker families who saw their way to helping finance some death camps, but by 1942 the whole salute thing proved a little embarrassing and Congress decided to change from the salute to "hand over the heart".

12 years later (and 62 years after it was first adopted) the words "under God" were added to the pledge because McCarthy and his bunch liked the National Socialism of allegiance pledging but it also smacked of Communism: at least if it had "God" in it then at least it wouldn't be SOVIET communism.

So, I presume that you always refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance given that it was written by a Socialist and promoted by Socialists.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

Yup, thought as much.
How willfully ignorant do you have to be to maintain belief in such patent bollox?
You're probably religious too..... ;-)
