I quite like Sanders but wasn't even mildly disappointed to see him drop out as I stopped caring a while ago.
Having said that, getting upset at him being a wee bit socialist makes me laugh.
But not as much as:

I tuned out from US politics some time ago.
However, now that I have some unexpected time on my hands, I have been watching the Trump press conference every night, with a beer, for the last fortnight.
Fantastic entertainment, especially the "that's a snarky question and you're a terrible reporter" section. Great fun.

You've probably seen me post this theory before, but I expect Biden is being used as a pawn right now. Shortly before the general election Biden will pull out, citing a "new" diagnosis of Dementia or similar. The Dems will have a brokered convention, and place a hand picked candidate to face Trump. That candidate won't have the baggage of grueling primary campaigns to expose his/her flaws. It will probably be someone completely out of left field we don't expect, like an Elon Muskrat.

From what I've been seeing, for the most part it's justified. Granted I don't sit and watch every single conference, but from what I've seen he only seems to go after "reporters" who aren't really unbiased journalists. They are operatives for the DNC or China, sometimes comically transparent.

Then you have CNN who at a certain point will cut off the audio on their broadcast, to tell you what "he really meant" and what you should think. You also have "reporters" that try ignore the situation at hand, to grandstand trying to make Trump look bad. One reporter was going to try to make Trump look bad about the price of oil. Trump called him out asking what the current price was. The "reporter" didn't even know. The "question" wasn't even a question, it was a planned attack Trump sniffed out.

People with fair questions seem to be treated fairly well. I just got finished watching his latest presser, and there were a couple strong questions. He said "that's a fair question" and answered them.

Don't believe it. They were claiming in 2015 that Hillary had a 98% of victory, so Trump supporters shouldn't even bother going to the polls. All these deep blue shitholes being terrorized and/or burnt to the ground? The people who actually live there are mostly Democrat and all are pissed as hell. There is a whole lot of red-pilling going on. The Liberal Media, the deep state, and all the various corrupt actors are going all-in to defeat Trump. They will fail, and Trump will make good on his original statement of throwing the corrupt, such as Hillary, in jail. Without an upcoming election cycle, the chains will be off.

His statement is factually correct.

The African American community is more culturally homogeneous than the Latino community in the US. Just look at the rate of bilingual speakers. A mere 8 percent of African Americans speak a second language whereas 70% of US Latinos speak Spanish and English.

If you bother to read or watch interviews with Latinos, you will often hear them discuss that people from Cuba, Honduras, Peru, Brazil and Mexico do not have nearly as much in common as the "Latino" label might suggest.

Biden could have phrased his point more elegantly but this is a joke compared to Trump's Axios interview this week, which featured far more outrageous and factually untrue statements.

He wasn't talking about speaking multiple languages. He's the same guy who stated a couple months back "if you don't vote for me, you ain't black!". He' clearly talking about diversity of thought.

I don't have to watch interviews, I live in the most diverse area of the country when it comes to hispanics. I literally managed a building for several years called "Citicorp Latino", with bank managers from dozens of countries. Hispanic people are tribalistic and often dislike those from other countries.

But your 2nd statement is still not correct. Black America is very diverse. They do not all come from the same family experience. Especially here in South Florida we have huge Haitan and Jamaican communities. We as a country have immigrants from many African countries. I'm talking recent immigrants, not those with a slaver past family history. Just take these 3, Haitan, Jamaican and general black americans (descended from slavery). No different than hispanics, they often cannot stand each other. Most strongly I've seen is Jamaicans really hating black Americans.

Any way you slice it, it seems Joes senility has made him lose any filter on his mouth, and we're seeing the real Joe. You have other episodes of Joedoing the same or worse. It wasn't really reported on, but during that whole pool speech with gems like "Cornpop", he called black children swimming in a pool "cockroaches".
