Thanks for the link. I know for a fact Little Caesars doesn't normally sell DiGiorno pizza, they make them (semi) fresh. I only half believe this link though. I believe it was just something that happened in this one embedded Kmart location, but not the explanation for why we see this video.

"On that day [Saturday], this K-Mart received a few complaints from customers about having purchased expired DiGiorno pizzas from that location, and because it was so close to closing time, the K-Mart manager directed his employee to temporarily store them in a cooler adjacent to the Little Caesars location for disposal in the morning."

Bzzt! This I don't believe. More likely what happened is that the manager found out his DiGiorno pizza stock was expired/expiring and decided to cook them and sell them in the embedded pizza shop. In the restaurant and grocery business there are bad actors. I'd much quicker believe the owner of this K-Mart is such a bad actor. The story about moving them temporarily to dispose in the morning doesn't pass the smell test.

Yeah, that seemed really odd. If you're going to dispose of them out, why bother to put them in a cooler at all? But I'm not really sure I buy your explanation, either.

Detroit companies, so it's been getting a bit of coverage around here.

K-Mart is basically bankrupt. They're even deader than Sears, if that is possible. So it doesn't surprise me in the least that the remaining locations have expired stuff they need to get rid of. The question becomes who owns that Little Caesars. Most of the store front ones are run by a franchise who just leases the space. Just like if it was a food court location. So K-Mart wouldn't get anything for giving them expired pizzas, anyhow. Those sales go to the franchise, not the store it's in. Unless that K-Mart owner also owns the franchise for that Little Caesars location?

The girl looks like she's hanging out by the cart, like she's taking the pizzas somewhere, and just stopped to waste some time talking to her friend who works at the Little Caesar counter. Why you wouldn't just say that, though, is just as bizarre as any of the rest of it. lol

That was my assumption, but as you point out it is not necessarily true. My guess also due to the fact it just so happens to be frozen pizza being thrown out, not say Hot Pockets, frozen lasagna etc. Either way, yeah bizarre story.

There are no K-Marts left down here. Not many Sears left either. My local Sears that had been there since I was a little kid just shut down a couple months ago. I was sad to see it go, but not too surprised. Clothing was probably their biggest department, some of the pricing was laughable. I'd only buy clothes there when they had a sale. Didn't help that Target has been walking distance from it for a couple decades. Their tool department was good, but not enough to sustain it.

The whole Kmart purchase by Sears was quite shady. Sears itself as a corporate entity, was/is quite shady. I forget the exact year, but shortly after purchasing Kmart, Sears itself went Bankrupt and through reorganization wiped out all Class A shares (stock). I have different opinions between companies as the corporate entity, and the actual brand.

Craftsman tools were good tools. Hopefully the actual product survives and not just the brand name.

A Belgian air force mechanic accidentally opened fire on and destroyed an F-16 fighter jet while servicing another warplane

Florennes air base - update

It is reported that a probable clumsy fault of a technician resulted in the explosion at Florennes air base (Belgium), resulting in a write-off of Belgium Air Force (BAF) F-16AM FA128.

In a nearby hangar, positioned at the extension of the flight line, a technician was working on an F-16. It is said that by accident the six-barrel 20mm Vulcan M61A-1 cannon of that F-16 was activated. Apparently, the cannon was loaded and some ammunition hit the FA128. This aircraft had just been refuelled and prepared together with another F-16 for an upcoming afternoon sortie. After impact of the 20mm bullets, FA128 exploded instantly and damaged two other F-16s. Thankfully nobody got killed, only one technician incurred hearing impairment.

The Belgian Aviation Safety Directorate started an investigation. The Belgian Air Force has some 54 F-16s left now.

Woman Removed From Flight Due To 'Emotional Support' Squirrel

A woman flying from Orlando to Cleveland was removed from the flight by police after she was told that her "emotional support" squirrel was not allowed on the plane. The woman alerted Frontier Airlines that she had an emotional support animal before arriving at the airport but did not mention the type of animal she planned to bring.

Once she boarded the plane, the flight crew told the woman that Frontier's Emotional Support Animal Policy bans passengers from flying with "rodents, reptiles, insects, hedgehogs, rabbits, sugar gliders, non-household birds or improperly cleaned and/or animals with a foul odor."

She was asked to deplane and refused, forcing the flight crew to call Orlando police. The police ordered everybody off of the plane before escorting the woman from her seat. It is unclear whether the unidentified woman was charged by police for her actions.

The flight was delayed for two hours, though most of the passengers had a laugh at the delay. USA Today spoke with Julia Papesch, who was on the flight and shared a video of the woman being wheeled off the plane by a staff member.

I'm not a big fan of either, but besides having priests that are kiddy diddlers, the Catholic Church actually does some good through their charities. And last time I checked, it's not Catholics strapping bombs to themselves or flying planes into buildings.

Sinead O'Connor does indeed have mental health issues and her "conversion to islam" is yet another manifestation of that.
I don't think it's too much of a stretch to predict that if she's still alive ten years from now, she won't be a muslim.
She'll probably still be a crackpot, though.

If she stops being a muslim, she won't be alive. You're not allowed to leave, you know. (Strictly speaking, of course. Some western Muslims are a bit slack on that, thankfully)

Indeed. I know a girl who converted to islam then "deconverted".
I haven't seen her for a while but last I heard she was still alive.
