Prediction: Trump will get a majority of black voters

a hero in 2009 when he rushed the stage grabbing the mic from Taylor Swift accepting an award to say she didn't deserve it and Beyonce did
Actually, he has been ridiculed for this stunt for years... How many years has it been since you watched an episode of any (US) late night talk show?

One embarrassment after another the Liberal Media /Pop Culture loved, but making positive statements about Trump? Mental evaluation needed!!!
Once again, not true. He has repeatedly cut concerts short and cancelled others on short notice. He has shown unstable behaviour for quite a while now.

As long as ticket sales continue to be strong, public "controversies" are generally seen as welcome marketing tools. Unfortunately, sales do not matter if a performer is unable to perform and tickets need to be refunded.

When did Johnny Carson go off the air again? ;)

The theme of my comment was meant mostly in jest. He's always seemed a bit unstable and with with a grandiose self image, but until recently I figured it was all an act. While generally in jest, there is a tad of truth to what I posted. Even after I posted I was listening to local AM sports talk radio and they touched on it. The host said (paraphrasing) "Everyone knows African Americans aren't fans of Donald Trump for obvious reasons. Clearly he needs help". The host didn't mention past issues, only mentioned Trump and glossed slightly over cutting concerts short. This is a SPORTS talk radio show that almost never touches on politics, and only occasionally touches on Pop culture.

Shaquille O’Neal Says Donald Trump Won ‘Fair And Square,’ So Stop Talking About Recounts

“We have a process that’s been going on forever,” the NBA Hall of Famer told ITK on Wednesday. “And whoever wins, you just hope he does what he says he’s going to do. You know, candidate Trump promised a lot of people a lot of things.

“Now that he’s president-elect, you just hope that he can make the world a better place. He won fair and square. We have to give him a chance,” added O’Neal. “There’s no need talking about recounts and this and that.”

That's what marrying a Kardashian will do to you

I predict Kanye West will soon transition to a woman

Wow.. Reading the response of many libertards on social media is just a sad statement on the Democrat Party. You have IDIOTS calling JIM BROWN a coon! If you aren't familiar with the term "coon", it is a derogatory term that black people call other black people, implying they are some sort of minstrel puppet for evil whitey.

NFL great Brown on meeting Trump: 'I fell in love with him'

(CNN)NFL legend Jim Brown stopped by Trump Tower Tuesday for a meeting pegged as a discussion about issues facing the African-American community, saying he "fell in love" with President-elect Donald Trump.

Though Brown voted for Hillary Clinton in November, he told CNN's Brooke Baldwin later Tuesday he came away from the meeting with a heart-warming sense of positivity.
"I fell in love with him because he really talks about helping African-American, black people and that's why I'm here," said Brown, a man many consider to be one of the NFL's greatest running backs.

For decades, Brown has been an activist, particularly for minorities and the inner-cities, and his Amer-I-Can program is designed to "empower individuals to take charge of their lives and achieve their full potential," the group says.

Former Black Panther: ‘Illegitimate Congressman’ John Lewis ‘Presided Over Destruction Of Black People’

However, Weaver believes the spotlight should be turned on the longtime Democratic lawmaker and his record.

“He has presided over the worst school system in the world, where black people are learning to only be gang prep,” Weaver said of Lewis.

“I’m outraged that the demonstration that he had early in his life has turned into a subjugation of his right and authority as a black leader.”

Weaver says not only has Lewis failed his constituents — which consist of most of Atlanta, Georgia — but the “Congressional Communist Black Caucus that has every district they own and control is a ghetto hellhole.”

Weaver challenged Rep. Lewis to “apologize” to the American people for joining the Democratic “party of abuse,” which has “always been the party of the Klan; the party that went to war to keep slaves; the party that’s always been the destruction of black people.”

Rep. Lewis “has gotten rich and his people have gotten poorer,” Weaver said. “The black caucus has gotten more power and influence, and the black people they preside over have gotten poorer — more drugs, more gangs, less businesses, less home ownership, less education, more jails.”

Reviving this thread. Based on the media reporting of exit polls and trusting them, my prediction was wrong for 2016. Trump had a sharp uptick in the black vote, but not a majority. 2020 will be even more telling. Not just the Kanye effect, but other everyday people who just want opportunities.

Man Cries Tears of Joy for Low Black Employment Under Trump

Also, the majority of working class black people are conservative at their core. Only violent ghetto blue communities like Chicago, and wealthy college kids get TV time, but the majority are in the middle of those 2 groups and they aren't stupid. 2018 midterms will be interesting, but the 2020 election will be even more interesting.

the actual article, and a better look at the graphic.

I wish them luck, but most of them are using their own cash and money from family/friends. And, as everyone knows, most small businesses "fail" in the first 5 years. As the one comment in this article states: the government is doing NOTHING to help out these very courageous people. They are all doing in on their own

the economy has been making a very slow upward movement for years now, which is good. but trump has done nothing useful. And his trade war has just damaged farmers (among others). We've already seen a rise in prices.

Government should not do specific things to help businesses, they should just remove barriers. That is what Trump specifically is doing. The best example is lowering the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%. He actually pushed for 15%, but compromised at 21% just to get it done. He's also moved to reduce regulations.

Government is still "doing things to help" multinational corporations, and that needs to stop. I hope Trump tackles this. The playing field should be level regardless if a company has 100,000+ employees or 5 employees.

It is yet to be seen how the trade war will all shake out, but from my perspective it has been a net positive. The steel industry has been reborn. Ghost towns in the rust belt are coming back to life with people getting their jobs back.

I think the climate might be responsible for a bunch of that. When crops die there's less food and that makes it more expensive.
