Joe Biden Blames Record High Energy Prices on Oil Companies, Calls for Investigation

President Biden’s request for the agency to investigate oil companies comes as the Biden-Harris administration has conducted a regulatory war on American energy.

Just after taking office, Biden revoked the Keystone XL Pipeline. The pipeline would have transported 35 million gallons of crude oil per day from Nebraska to the Gulf Coast.

Biden has also allowed Russia to access European energy markets by building a pipeline from Russia to Germany. The project is a direct hit to American producers who sell oil to European nations.

President Biden is also weighing whether to cancel a 78-year-old Line 5 oil Michigan pipeline. The pipeline may be terminated because 12 federally recognized tribes asked the administration to do so.

White House Cancels Scheduled Joe Biden Speech 15 Minutes Before It Starts

The White House on Monday canceled a speech scheduled for President Joe Biden — 15 minutes before it was planned to begin.

“The President will no longer deliver remarks following his meeting with CEOs,” the White House informed reporters at 3:28 p.m.

The White House said the president would speak about supply chain disruptions on Wednesday as an official told reporters that Biden “wanted to ensure ample time spent with the business leaders who traveled to the White House today.”

Biden was expected to speak after meeting with retail and grocery company CEOs to discuss supply disruptions ahead of the Christmas shopping season.

Earlier in the afternoon, Biden spoke briefly at the top of the meeting, allowing the media to observe his remarks.

“I spent more time walking through the aisles of Wal-Mart than I want to admit,” Biden said to the Wal-Mart CEO Doug McMillon, who appeared via video at the meeting. “Because there’s one right across the street from where I live in Delaware.”

The meeting took place at the EOP Library, across the street from the White House in the Executive Office Building.

After his opening remarks, Biden turned the meeting over to White House economic advisor Brian Deese.

“Isn’t this a pretty place?” Biden commented after looking up at the ceiling.

Sixty-nine percent of Americans disapprove of Biden's handling of inflation: poll

Nearly 70 percent of Americans say they disapprove of how President Biden is handling inflation, according to a new ABC News-Ipsos poll released on Sunday.

The poll found that 69 percent of Americans disapprove of how Biden has handled inflation, while only 28 percent said they approve. Along party lines, 94 percent Republicans said they disapprove, while 54 percent of Democrats said the same. Among independent voters, 71 percent disapprove.

BIDEN TELLS PACKER FAN AT TORNADO CLEANUP THAT RODGERS SHOULD GET VACCINATED

Biden made the poorly-timed and wildly inappropriate comment while in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, one of the areas hardest hit by last Friday’s tornados. TMZ was able to obtain video of Biden’s jab here.

The president made the comment while masked outside (because cosmetic theatre is always in play) surrounded by a handful of other unmasked survivors. It’s not clear whether they needed to show proof of vax status in order to walk through the remaining rubble that was once their homes and businesses.

I love high gas prices since it makes the switch to EVs faaaaster. And being in Afghanistan was a huge waste of US taxpayer dollars. It’s not something I want to pay for with the medical system in the United States being so terrible why can’t they invest in that instead. The medical system in the US is an embarrassment. And all the processed food junk is not helping anyones health either.

Report: Joe Manchin May Become an Independent After White House Accuses Him of Disloyalty

Following Manchin’s vocal opposition to Biden’s $1.9 trillion Build Back Better bill, the White House accused Manchin of breaching “his commitments to the President.”

The accusation may result in Manchin becoming an independent, though he would still caucus with Democrats, Axios reported.

Manchin is from West Virginia, a red state that Biden lost in 2020 by nearly 40 points.

“I’m from West Virginia,” he said Monday. “I’m not from where they’re [Democrats] from, and they can just beat the living crap out of people and think they’ll be submissive, period.”

Democrats Angered Radical Rashida Will Rebut Joe Biden’s SOTU

Typically only the opposing party would respond to a president’s speech. This year Democrat factions have decided they too will join the opposition party and give their own criticism of Biden’s agenda.

Not only will Tlaib give a rebuttal for the Congressional Progressive Caucus, but Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX) will speak for the Congressional Black Caucus.

Rep. Filemon Vela (D-TX) told Axios that Democrats should be showing unity behind the president. “In times of crisis, we should all stand by our president,” she said.

Three speeches in one night from Democrats perhaps speaks to the failings of a president who has failed to lead the party to any significant successes during his tenure.

Instead, the nation has inflation that has increased to a 40-year-high. Supply chain woes have continued. More than two million migrants have been apprehended at the southern border. Gas prices have risen by $1.00 since last year. Fentanyl has become the greatest killer among 18-45-year-olds. Weekly wages have tanked. And the deadly Afghan withdrawal deeply embarrassed the nation.

The Associated Press slammed Biden’s state of the union on Monday for being in a “state of exhaustion from the pandemic.”

“It’s about feeling gouged at the grocery store and gas pump. It’s so low that some Americans, including prominent ones, are exalting Russian President Vladimir Putin in his attack on a democracy,” the outlet said, drawing a comparison with Jimmy Carter’s presidency and the nation’s “crisis of confidence.”

According to polling, only 36 percent of voters say Biden is fit enough to lead the nation. A majority of 53 percent said they have “doubts” about Biden’s mental fitness. Only 47 percent said Biden is “mentally fit.”
