47%ers and Mitt

here's another indication that mittens has no clue
Mitt Romney, On 60 Minutes, Cites Emergency Room As Health Care Option For Uninsured

Obviously romney has never used the Emergency Room.
Well, last weekend my mother - who has lots of insurance because she worked decades with no vacations (unlike the romney's) - fractured her hip and was sent to the ER.

Because, you know, THAT'S an emergency.
And we went to a very good hospital. We STILL spent eight hours there. Yes, they had to take two x-ray sessions and she wasn't just left alone. Doctors and nurses came around frequently...

Just imagine what it would be like if everyone had to go to the ER........he has no idea what it's like to live in the real world.

Even the Greek press had something to say about Romney's divisive "47 percenters" comment.

Mitt Romney’s rumination that there is no reason for him to pursue the vote of 47 percent of Americans -- because they are dependant on state funding and so will vote for President Barack Obama -- reveals a truth that is at the heart of every political system. Even though they speak of the need for unity, and profess to have all citizens’ interests at heart, political leaders base their power on specific groups, which they then support at the expense of others. Speaking to rich donors, Romney flattered his audience by demeaning the “the other side” -- the people whom he portrayed as addicted to state funds, who (ostensibly) live at the expense of the creative forces represented by his donors.

I found the rest of the article pretty interesting as well although it relates the above to Greece's own problems.

I saw ryan say that to the AARP group. He seemed to look surprised at their Reaction

THAT is the weird thing. Another guy that doesn't get it

You know that this "47%er" thing is gonna linger around much longer than the memory of Romney himself. Not bad for a number he pulled out of his ass. Still, Democrat commentators decades from now may still talk about the "47%ers", but everyone will have forgotten who Romney was. What a joke.
