Let's have a thread just for this instead of bits and pieces in other threads.

Looks like Trump may have won the popular vote after all.

STATEMENT REGARDING TRUMP’S CLAIM OF ILLEGAL VOTING

HOUSTON, TX. – November 27, 2016: True the Vote (TTV), the nation's leading voters’ rights and election integrity organization, today released a statement with respect to President-Elect Donald Trump’s claim that “millions” of individuals illegally voted in the 2016 Election.

“True the Vote absolutely supports President-elect Trump’s recent comment about the impact of illegal voting, as reflected in the national popular vote. We are still collecting data and will be for several months, but our intent is to publish a comprehensive study on the significant impact of illegal voting in all of its many forms and begin a national discussion on how voters, states, and the Trump Administration can best address this growing problem.”

True the Vote (TTV) is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) voters’ rights organization, founded to inspire and equip voters for involvement at every stage of our electoral process. TTV empowers organizations and individuals across the nation to actively protect the rights of legitimate voters, regardless of their political party affiliation. Stein has to find voting issues or proof of possible fraud to force a recount in PA.

Michigan gears up for the possible recount after finally certifying its vote.

Is this the plan?

Not unless you mistake unsubstantiated accusations (from a partisan organization) for facts.

Source

There are 3,141 counties in the United States.

Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.

There are 62 counties in New York State.

Trump won 46 of them.
Clinton won 16.

Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.

In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond)

Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.

These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3, 797,000 square miles.

When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.

Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc) don’t and shouldn’t speak for the rest of our country.

Oops, wrong again.

Report: 5,500 Noncitizens Discovered on Virginia Voter Rolls

One-third illegally cast ballots in the state

A public interest law firm has discovered thousands of noncitizens were quietly removed from Virginia voter rolls and that a number of the removed individuals had been voting since the 1980s.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), an Indiana-based group that litigates to protect election integrity, released a report detailing their findings on Virginia's voter rolls. The group filed numerous lawsuits and submitted a number of record requests in order to gather the information after the state had initially stonewalled their efforts.

The extensive review of voter history files across Virginia's 133 jurisdictions found that state election officials removed 5,556 noncitizen voters between 2011 and May 2017. Of the 5,556 noncitizens that were quietly removed from the rolls, 1,852 cast ballots.

PILF said that a total of 7,474 illegal ballots were cast by the noncitizens, with records of illegal voting dating as far back as the 1980s.

"Virginia's voter registration system is so flawed, noncitizens have been found voting since the 1980s and weren't caught until recently—by happenstance," Logan Churchwell, PILF's spokesman, told the Washington Free Beacon. "It's 2017—using the honor system to determine eligibility is only defended by those without a sense of outrage toward voter fraud."

So, "one square mile, one vote" instead of "one man, one vote", eh? I do not have words to express how idiotic that stance is. The idea that someone could possibly believe that this represents "democracy" is simply devastating. There is a reason why democracy is also called "rule of the majority", not "rule of land mass"...

I quoted and directly responded to your accusation that Trump may have won the popular vote. The article you referenced does not provide or cite any proof that 2.8 million ballots had been cast illegaly during the 2016 presidential election. Even if one were to discuss the popular vote In Virginia specifically, it should be mentioned that Clinton won the popular vote by 200,000 votes. The article, however, references allegedly illegal votes from less than 1,900 non-citizens between the years of 2011 and 2017. Even if all of these votes were cast in 2016, which is unlikely, they would not be anywhere close to being sufficent to affect who had won the popular vote in this particular state.

Of course, it is not like facts have ever changed your opinion about anything before... It could not possibly be that a majority of people who bothered to vote did not agree with your personal choice. No way! It must be a conspiracy!
