Yes, I vaguely remember having bible lessons at school where they told stories from the bible.
One story contained a part where they cut out the right eye of all the men in a conquered city, so they wouldn't be able to fire their bows.
Come to think of it, if I would have told my parents this, I think they would have been *quite* pissed off.
