New Gun Control... Necessary or Politically Expedient

1 locked drawer, no key in lock.

Short of putting a crowbar to it, how would you expect a toddler to get into it?

Nitpicking here and not a truly analogous example anyway but as a child of about four or five I managed to get into a locked top drawer by removing the unlocked drawer beneath and wriggling my skinny, wee arm round the back. This was to retrieve a bar of chocolate but I suppose the principle is the same.

Never got found out either. ;)

Hey, I bet that could make a cool song!

good gawd you made that way too easy...

at least 36,417 people were killed and additional effects were felt all over the world.

An estimated 16,000 people died due to hydrothermal pyroclastic flows.[2]

Cars collectively might account for 10's of 1000's of deaths annually across the globe, but in the course of an afternoon, in one location? Same for war and DUI. The two atom bombs might have killed more, but neither would have obliterated Krakatoa to the extent it was. It should also be noted that whilst Krakatoa was one of the largest eruptions in history, geologically it was small fry.

Cancer, diabetes, Aids and arguably hunger are all part of nature :-P

“There is a man laying on the floor and your police officers beat the (expletive) out of him and killed him. I have it all on video camera. We videotaped the whole thing.” Officers say they were responding to a call about an intoxicated man and that Silva had fought them.

yep... no need to think of self defense or self preservation... nothing to see here... all conspiracy theories.. move along little doggies.... moooo!!

you know... a good deal of murders are fueled by alcohol and legal drugs... a gun was used... so what?... ban the gun...don't talk about the addiction or affliction by the legal crap we spoonfeed our children from big pharma... you know... the "complacency people" don't cure the addiction.. heal the soul...repair the man or hospitalize him... too costly... we'll ban guns... and pressure cookers... and rocket motors... and a bunch of other stuff... knee jerk reaction ... nothin'...you are trusting people unworthy of trust...

he also recently totaled a patrol car on a county road driving too fast...

forgot part of that...

and on a local level...enjoy!!... gun control... lol... really glaucus? sorry wanted to add this part cause its extra funny...
