I actually like hanging on to my quaint, old ways of speaking.
I still "tape programmes off the telly" and "listen to records" (although that one is often literally true but mostly refers to mp3s these days.)

We're all (the general public, that is) going to be monitored 24/7 before long so it'd be nice if those in positions of authority were in the same boat.
