a video from the State Department’s social media campaign against the ISIS

One day you're a JV team, the next you're a scrappy Cinderella bracket-buster.

Cream Puff? Is that because it's rhyming slang for taking the huff?

Not only a MN problem but a US problem as these come from other States as well. Check the news various have come from other States, like California.

Though we should expect more from Minnesota as MN has the largest Somali population in North America. Just shy of 40% of the entire US Somali legal refugee/immigrant population live in the Mpls/St.Paul area. Statistically if Somalis are leaving to join the fight we'll see more coming from MN than other other State. Locally, we've seeing an increase in Somali gang related activity, as well.

Somalis face similar problems that all immigrants have faced. It takes to time to integrate them into society. This results in higher unemployment and more crimes from that section of the population. In addition, the Country they came from was fairly lawless. They relied on self preservation which resulted in lots of gangs and piracy. (Interesting side note: If you look into Libertarian ideals of how hands off the Gov should be and how every one should fend for themselves instead, Somali was probably as close to a Libertarian nation as we've had in modern history.)

One of the key concepts of libertarianism is rule of law

Under libertarianism individuals are free to pursue their own lives so long as they respect the equal rights of others. The rule of law means that individuals are governed by defined legal rules, and those rules should protect the freedom of individuals to pursue happiness in their own ways, not aimed at any particular result or outcome.

Somalia is an anarchist utopia

Well, that's not all bad. If they're coming, there's a remote chance they'll cut your head off and spare us your garbage. That would be nice.
Well that's a bit harsh and uncalled for...

EDITED: I think we all understand blood and violence that are caused by terrorists, including ISIS.
Sure, but what do we call it if our guys do it, or when the Irgun did it, or ... well, of course, in those kinds of cases we call it a war and then just shrug and say "shit happens in a war"? Lay 30 prisoners down in a ditch and shoot them. Kill 30 guests at a wedding with a missile. There's not as much difference as you'd like to think.

There is a difference between negligence and intentional action and it's a big one.

Perhaps intentional negligence - but as to the other things - yes, American soldiers have raped (and raped and killed) and so have many other people's fighters. This sort of moral degradation (or perhaps just toughening up) is typical of extended warfare. And it will just go on to breed worse. And it happened because we have been fanning it for decades and I think one of the reasons we have been fanning it is because we don't actually WANT stable, free and autonomous societies in the middle east and central Asia. We don't want those things in Africa either. Fractured societies can't resist exploitation.

As an aside, I'm not convinced that the picture with the pliers didn't come from a porn site. It just seems to be too contrived.
