Suddenly vaccine skepticism has gone mainstream.

TWO FDA VACCINE SPECIALISTS RESIGN, IMMEDIATELY PUBLISH BOOSTER DOUBTS

Two longtime FDA officials specializing in vaccines have resigned from the oft-maligned agency, citing wariness about the efficacy and need for booster shots, per a jointly-authored paper in The Lancet (a weekly peer-reviewed medical journal.)

Marion Gruber, the director of the FDA’s Office of Vaccines Research and Review, and Phil Krause, Gruber’s deputy director, wrote that recipients of vaccines with low efficacy or those who are immunocompromised might need a booster, but the general public doesn’t need one yet, and the risks of another shot of a COVID-19 vaccine should not be casually dismissed.

LET’S CHECK IN WITH AUSTRALIA & ITS ENDLESS COVID LOCKDOWNS…YEP, CASES ARE UP BIG TIME

On November 5, 2020, the Washington Post declared that Australia had nearly eliminated COVID “by putting faith in science” and the country had “become a pandemic success story.” According to the latest COVID data, Australia’s case count has risen 19,511% since the Post heaped such praise on a country that has since gone into multiple lockdowns and has left its citizens stranded overseas.

So how exactly did Australia win the war on the ‘VID before it eventually flared up again this summer? Citizens had to give up civil liberties.

“Perhaps most important, though, leaders from across the ideological spectrum persuaded Australians to take the pandemic seriously early on and prepared them to give up civil liberties they had never lost before, even during two world wars,” the Post wrote.

Fast-forward to September 2021. The civil liberties were given up, tens of thousands of citizens stuck abroad can’t get back into their country, and parts of Australia where COVID is low to non-existent, are now refusing to open borders within the country to other Australian states.

He’s talking about the restrictions that have turned Australia into a North Korea as far as citizens’ ability to move freely. People have to beg the government to jump on flights which are rare. Citizens need special exemptions to travel internationally. Now there’s talk of using facial recognition domestically to track people and make sure they’re complying with COVID rules.

Of course, the facial recognition stuff is in a *trial run*wink, wink.

Anti-lockdown protests have been banned. The military has been sent out to make sure people are complying. There are COVID checkpoints. Dissenters are arrested. Masks are mandated outside.

And Australia is supposed to be a democracy.

It keeps getting proven that you cannot fix a communist man made pandemic (bioweapon) with Communism! Australia is starting to admit it failed for them, but here stateside we still have Dems pretending Communism will fix the coof!

New Zealand Police Arrest Pair Smuggling Large KFC Order into Locked-Down Auckland

A breach of New Zealand’s Covid-19 Public Health Response Act can result in up to six months in prison and a fine of $4,000.

If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face-forever.
- George Orwell, 1984
The problem is with borders. If you have an impervious border then everyone inside that border can continue going about their business as usual. If Australia just banned travel it would have been a minor inconvenience to some people who just like to travel, most business that "requires" travel actually doesn't. Imports and exports and the manpower supporting them would have to be firewalled off but that should be practical and doable.
If you allow travel and travelers don;t behave themselves then you let a small fraction of the population eff it up for everyone else. If you also underestimate the transmissibility of the disease because despite it being known for over a year to be airborne you continue to pretend it isn't then you will not have sufficient protocols in place.
Once the outer border has been breached you have to enforce inner borders to prevent infected carriers taking the disease to places where it hasn't established itself. Everything you need to do is similar to what you would need to do to fight fire. A viral particle is an ignition source, humans are fuel.
The better you can localize the fire the smaller the firebreak you need to build. Towns and cities are where it gets difficult and therefore expensive. A city is like a pile of brush blasted by a whirlwind. Every bit of fuel in a city is just a few degrees of separation from every other bit of fuel. Lockdowns are an attempt to block the wind, vaccines are a a way of dampening the fuel. Australians didn't have spreading covid so had the luxury of not having to take the vaccine. Now they are either in the same boat as everyone else or they stop the spread.

One of the big problems I have had with most of the government reactions around world has been courseness. They put too many eggs in one basket while trying to play down the idea that there might be other baskets. When people catch the virus they are often told to go home and only go to hospital if it gets serious. There is no attempt to treat people in their homes to see if there are any protocols that help prevent the disease from becoming "bad" and no protocols to gauge who is likely to get it bad and deal with them early. Just keeping more people out of the hospital with early therapeutic and preventive protocols would be a huge money saver but, certainly for doctors that work in the hospital system in the US are actively discouraged from looking at therapeutics, especially cheap ones that the hospital can't bill for.

It's actually a serious, known and ongoing issue that drug companies have too much influence over hospitals, regulators and even individual physicians and insurance companies but that's a whole other issue.

REPORTED COVID CASES SURGE IN VERMONT DESPITE UNMATCHED VACCINATION RATES

Vermont’s vaccination numbers are a sight to behold. But not so much for the surge in COVID-19 cases.

According to one report, 88% of adults in Vermont are vaccinated. The numbers are even higher for those aged 65 and older — with nearly 100% of that Vermont demographic fully vaccinated.

But as the chart below shows, it hasn’t made one iota of difference. In fact, it’s pretty clear the high vaccination rate has done nothing to shrink reported COVID cases in the state. Quite the opposite, actually.

CONSTRUCTION WORKERS RISE UP AGAINST AUSTRALIAN LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS AND THE FOOTAGE IS INTENSE

Australians have had enough. Or, some Australians have had enough. Somewhere between mandatory tracking apps, corporate-sponsored "health" detention centers, and being told to register with the government to visit family, citizens had had enough with the country's authoritarian lockdown orders. That includes mandatory v*cc*ne laws. It all goes into the same authoritarian goulash.

Employees Sue United Airlines Over ‘Discriminatory’ Vaccine Mandate, Potentially 1000s Face Firing

Six United Airlines employees are suing the company for its “draconian” Chinese coronavirus vaccine mandate, alleging the company has violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilites Act (ADA) by discriminating against them based on their religious and medical exemptions.

The class action lawsuit, which powerhouse Washington, D.C. law firm Schaerr-Jaffe filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas on Tuesday, represents potentially at least 2,000 United Airlines employees. These workers have obtained religious or medical exemptions and will maintain employment, but they will be forced to live without pay and health benefits for up to six years while the company assesses the pandemic, according to the complaint.

“United’s actions have left Plaintiffs with the impossible choice of either taking the COVID-19 vaccine, at the expense of their religious beliefs and their health, or losing their livelihoods,” the complaint states. “In doing so, United has violated Title VII and the ADA by failing to engage in the interactive process and provide reasonable accommodations, and also by retaliating against employees who engaged in protected activity.”

United Airlines Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Scott Kirby announced to the company’s 67,000 U.S. employees that they must be vaccinated by September 27 and upload a copy of their vaccination card to the company’s database. Anyone who does not get vaccinated by that date will be fired.

Those who apply for religious or medical exemptions will be accommodated by being placed on unpaid leave and losing their health benefits, court documents show. However, the complaint argues that “indefinite unpaid leave is not a reasonable accommodation. Instead, indefinite unpaid leave is an adverse employment action.”

The company also does not have any alternatives for those who are unvaccinated, such as frequent PCR tests and masking, and does not consider previous infection as a valid medical excuse. The complaint details how United Airlines’ vaccine mandate is actually more strict than President Joe Biden’s proposed federal vaccine mandate, which would offer such alternatives, and the European Union’s digital COVID-19 certificate, which takes previous infection into consideration.

“We filed this lawsuit to protect the rights of honest, hardworking United Airlines employees who have religious or medical reasons not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine,” Mark Paoletta, a partner at Schaerr-Jaffe representing the plaintiff said in a statement. “United has refused to grant any accommodations and these employees are scared by United’s draconian mandate that forces them to either get the vaccine or lose their job. That’s unacceptable in America.”

Buwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Ya think?

NYC BLM CHAPTER LEADER IS LABELING THE VACCINE MANDATES AS ‘RACIST’

If you’re getting kicked out of a New York restaurant due to insufficient proof of vaccination, chances are that it’s due to racism.

According to a Times report, a prominent leader for the Black Lives Movement in New York called out the city’s Key to NYC policy as “racist” in intent for identifying a community with low vaccination rates and prohibiting them from partaking in the lifestyle of the vaxxed.

“Restaurants are using vaccine mandates to enforce their racist beliefs and excluding Black patrons,” claims Newsome.

Operating as “co-founder and chairman of Black Lives Matter Greater New York,” Newsome, like many on social media, has witnessed videos of Black patrons getting kicked out of restaurants and other indoor establishments over lack of vaccination.

A study by the Times released in August highlighted the discrepancies in vaccination rates between New York’s African American community compared to other ethnicities.

According to the data, “only 28 percent of Black New Yorkers ages 18 to 44 years are fully vaccinated, compared with 48 percent of Latino residents and 52 percent of white residents in that age group.”

Newsome admitted that his message could easily be seen as a “Right-leaning” talking point, but that an underlying truth exists within a city as heavily populated by African Americans — one of the least likeliest demographics to get vaccinated — being subject to a vaccine mandate.

Idaho COVID crisis: Hospitals overflowing with sicker, younger patients

"These people didn't need to die now, and they didn't need to die like this."

Health officials in Idaho are reporting dire circumstances as hospitals around the state continue to crumble under the delta-fueled surge of COVID-19 cases.
"We continue to set record highs," Dave Jeppesen, director of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, said in a press briefing Tuesday. With the latest data through September 18, the state saw a new record high of 686 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, a record high of 180 COVID-19 patients in intensive care units, and a record high of 112 COVID-19 patients on ventilators. The number of ventilated COVID-19 patients is nearly double what was seen in the last surge of COVID-19 cases in December.
"These numbers continue to increase, and we expect them to continue to increase," Jeppesen added.
Currently, the daily average of new cases is around 1,200, an increase of 25 percent in the past two weeks, according to data tracking by The New York Times. Hospitalizations are up 34 percent, and the current average of deaths each day is 22, an increase of 223 percent.

looks like the antivaxxers got potholer54's video removed.
bummer

I normally don't care to post links like this but it just makes me laugh. sorry

Video seems to be back. It may not have been anti-vaxxers. Youtube seems to aggressively take down anything that mentions HCQ, IVM or even vaccines.

YouTube does get crazy. They have been taking down Thunderf00t's videos regularly for years. It's quite annoying.

and Twitter is even more ridiculous. They allow famous idiots and morons spewing false garbage for years but ban individuals making the most innocuous statements. Their AI is truly flawed.

In a new article published this week in Nature Medicine, scientists from the UK, Australia, Sweden, and the U.S. highlight two of these suspect studies that they’ve brought attention to in the past: a purported clinical trial in Egypt that has now been pulled from the preprint server where it was released amid allegations of plagiarism and suspect data, and another in Iran that found a benefit in reducing mortality among hospitalized patients. The Iran study may have failed to properly randomize participants to the treatment and control groups, an important step for obtaining valid results, the authors say.

But they say these examples are just the tip of the iceberg. There are numerous other ivermectin studies they’ve found where even a cursory look at the data reveals glaring errors, conflicting details, and numbers so impossible that they were likely faked, the group argues. Not only are these studies bad science, they add, they’ve actively harming people.

‘Heartless’ United Airlines Vaccine Mandate Halted in Federal Court

Mark Paoletta, a partner at Schaerr Jaffe representing the plaintiff said in a statement:

We are pleased that under a threat of a Temporary Restraining Order, United Airlines postponed its heartless and unlawful vaccine mandate that would impose on approximately 2,000 employees the unconscionable choice of violating their religious faith, violating their doctors’ orders, or essentially losing their job.
Six United Airlines employees are suing the company for its “draconian” Chinese coronavirus vaccine mandate, alleging the company has violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by discriminating against them based on their religious and medical exemptions.
