Turns out... The fear of loss of fishing is a created meme from the right wing blogosphere...

Sounds scary! Until one realizes there's no truth in the rumors.

First time I've ever heard ESPN referred to as the right wing blogosphere.

But on the other hand "everybody knows" that the only people who sport fish are right wing.

This was an ESPN opinion piece... Not news. The right-wing blogosphere took it and spun it with it's own titles such as "Obama's Latest Assault on Freedom– New Regulations Will Ban Sport Fishing"

This wasn't Obama's actions in fact there is no such regulations. Here's the Mid-Term Report. Nothing in here says anything about recreational fishing let along banning it.

Malkin created her own fictionalized account of what would happen. Again based on a faulty premise with no evidence.

ESPN has even come out reminding people it was an opinion piece not news. And, IMO, they should have said baseless opinion at that.

So is the ESPN a right-wing blogosphere? In the case of this one article it appears so.
